yeah, i agree with trix, only the Professional series monitors are any good from Viewsonic. pf775 is the best 17" imo, as are the p90f and the p225f depending on size preference. If money is no object however, you might consider the Sony F520 its been the industry leader for years as far as CRT...

for a good quality hsf i would recommend the zalman cpns7000a-cu Its huge, cools great and is practically silent. you could achieve a modest overclock with this cooler without sacrificing noise.
