Thanks for organizing these games! I just now found out about them, but I know it can be like pulling teeth sometimes.

Play around with your sensitivities. I've found that if I can't hit a thing, I need only play around with those and it dials in pretty well.

I agree: "Better" is subjective. For fine aiming, it can be more efficient. I've always found that the trade off isn't worth it. I've stuck with a 3D Pro + N52.

I agree Foil. There are some forums where folk's signatures, or the images in their signatures dwarf whatever they're posting. I suppose shutting off them for individuals would don't like them would be an option. Perhaps setting a character limit and disallow [img] tags would be warranted?

I have only a hobby-level understanding of C++, and if working with it is anything like the troubles of working with server-side scripting and a HUGE database, I am impressed at the work that went into it. And KoolBear, thanks for breaking the DNS so we would eventually end up with a new ...

Re: Feedback on the new layout

(Although the theme is likely a sample that came with the new forum version, the WOW theme can go die in a fire.)

I'm using DescentBB_D3 right now, and the sizes of message text, usernames, post information (date posted, etc.) could all use a boosting.

Did anyone think to archive the forum on some physical media...just in case?

Also, does this conversion mean that the search function finally works?

That being said, I'd be interested in a replacement for that headset and they're climbing up in years, and eventually they'll...

Merlin, at that rate, the original Descent4 project could have taken up ten years to gain the proper rights. I recall a post by Valin Halcyon stating it would take ten years. It was more than likely a random time period thrown out for example purposes, but by now we could have gotten it. :)

I really didn't think that this subforum was for dissecting a handshake needlessly, instead of discussing real issues. For example, we could be discussing the caucus system prior to elections, or even the founding principals of Hinduism.

It's a long shot. Past projects have gone flat, and there are too many red flags, and until I see a decent demo (no pun intended), and an actual release date, I'm not holding my breath.

Greetings folks. After some troubleshooting last night, I have come to the DBB in hopes that someone else has had a similar plight. My problem lies in Descent3 with audio taunts, and a seemingly similar correlation with my ship logo. My issue is this: I hear about 50% of the audio taunts played by o...

Granted, inter-state happenings are a couple of orders of magnitude more important. I have no proof, exce...
