Re:
The term ma'am is defined as madam . The general should have addressed her as 'Madam Senator' if he'd wanted to use a gender term in addressing her. But check out the third definition here: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/madam Nice of him to call her a 'whore'! Ok I just read this again ...

Another thing I thought of that I found interesting about the exchange was that she said to him that she had worked very hard to earn that title........ As if the GENERAL couldn't relate to working hard for the position LOL.... My guess is that he probably worked pretty hard to make flag in the army...

I find her reply annoying as she's being poignant about her efforts. She doesn't need to justify herself. The cruel thing about this is (as you know Hostile) Generals rely on Senators and other high ranking officials for recommendations when trying for the next step in rank. This could be conceived...

As a career military officer myself, I will tell you that this man was indeed annoyed, BUT, as you can see he accomadated her request gracefully. However, the shocked look on his face was priceless.... She obviously doesn't understand military ettiquette. With that said, who cares? If the senator wa...

So good judgement wasn't there either. If that guy can't have a bumper sticker on his car, then nobody else in that subdivision better have ANY kind of bumper sticker either. Agreed 100%. This guy needs to go to the HOA and simply state his argument…“when the others remove their stickers I will remove mine” Then if they tell him that only “his” stickers are illegal, then he might have a case. (depends on the rules) I have no problems with any HOA, as long as they enforce the laws ev...

Ummmmm... What the hell are you guys talking about... HOAs are voluntary systems that the residents of the community under which they fall under SIGN UP FOR!
