 WOW! Nice!

There will not be a splash screen, but the logo will be used on my web site and the about dialog of DLE-XP.

Could you create an icon, too?

Thunderbird,

you are correct - almost. The demo also does not save block files (as with the extended block file format you could easily circumvent not being able to save levels).

But I have added an alternative UI layout (not what Tyranny proposed). Set it in the prefs dialog, and restart DLE-XP to see it.

On another note, shading should be off by default. Everytime I close and re-open DLE-XP and then open a new level shading is on by default which since the level isn't lit, let alone complete it is kind of pointless IMO. Of course, I must admit that this might be because I have the demo version and ...

D2X for MS-Windows

Heya, news for all die-hard D2 fans: I have managed to create an MSVC project for D2X and build a working D2X executable. It's way smaller than the official one and even has it's first bug fix. I will continue to try to fix any known problems with D2X and offer a d/l link for my D2X Windows version...

Well I've got it to compile and run now.

Unfortunately, D2X CTD's even when run from the debugger in certain situations, probably due to a problem in an external component like a driver. That's really bad, because it's very hard to debug. :x
