What are the timings for your RAM? It's a set of 4 numbers, measured in CPU clocks. For example, my RAM timings is 3-3-3-8 (DDR-400 speed). Do you have high performance or budget RAM?

I would think that for all the wear that a flash drive would be subjected to, it'd be a better choice to use an SSD or external HDD, mostly for the longevity of the device.

Speech recognition is the best you could do so far. I'm not sure the programming for motion recognition has become sophisticated enough for reading sign language with a camera to be done.

To my knowledge, Descent 1 does not support such a large number of levels in one mission file. Descent 2 I think does, but I could be totally off. I'd prefer Descent 2 because of its better weapons and improved programming (comparing retail with retail).
