The problem isn't the amount of crude available, the problem is the (intentional) lack of refining capacity.

There hasn't been a major refinery built (in the US) since the 70s!

Just got back from 3 hours (I hadda werk my regular job too) of hauling funiture putting these apartments together for the peeps coming here from Louisiana and Mississippi. My arms hurt but it feels good.
