I just beat it again, quite easily this time. Some of the higher levels where everyone has problems took me a bit of time to look at, but the solution was resolved easily. I think it's because I already have programmed myself with the resolution parameters. Basically: You're wiring a 2D circuit boar...

The only thing not to code on that engine is that there aren't any reflectors or lights on the back edge, or at least a red flag to warn motorists not to run into it, like some trucks that carry extra long planks of wood or rolls of carpeting or rebar need to do. And that he cannot run it while driv...

Most people think that people wont pay, but like those women stated, the guilt was overwhelming, and they overcompensated for their niggardliness . It's more likely that a person will try to imagine how much their food or coffee will cost, and pay just slightly more than that amount, and end up over...

My Favorite Comment on this site : I went down to Terra Bite randomly on a Sunday with my best friend because Janis had told me about it. Katie and I had this plan to just go in, get coffee and not pay because we wanted to see how it felt to just not pay. We ended up feeling so guilty that we drove ...

Its way too slow. Tell your friend he can tell the story in about one fifth as many pages, just make it brief, to the point. Less is more. All that could have been expressed in 8 pages or less. Also, it wasn't clear what the direction of movement was for Reenah in alot of the scenes. In fact, it alm...

That is a much more sound approach than the first one. I agree wholeheartedly that you should control information until the game is ready to be released. Richard Rouse the Third would agree with me (Game Design - Theory and Practice ©2005 ISBN 1-55622-912-7) Do not create a sequel, create a new game...

A Lesson in Politics

A son asks his father, \"What can you tell me about politics? I have to learn about it for school tomorrow.\" The father thought some and said, \"OK, son, the best way I can describe politics is to use an analogy. Let's say that I'm a capitalist because I'm the breadwinner. Your mothe...

When I first played Descent, I was playing on someone else's machine, and only played for about five minutes, got motion sick, hated the game, and wrote it off. It was a couple years later when I was reintroduced to Descent and D2 that I once again played the game, but had no motion sickness. Weird,...

Vote for what you think the most shoplifted item is first, THEN click here to find out how close you were. Remember, vote for what you think is shoplifted most before looking at the link. Also, vote before reading the discussion which will inevitably lead to clues spoiling the suprise. Discuss :D

This forum is and especially this post is populated by the diehard fans of a doomed game. Descent is history. If this new game was the future, a real publisher would have snatched it up and released it by now. Reality proves the point.

Because most games don't take this long to be developed and released. If someone is funding it, they expect results sooner rather than later. If someone isn't funding it, then there is no due date, and it could be years later before we see anything real happening. Would you rather wait years to see ...

It would be the movie I linked. If you haven't watched it and you are judging it without considering it, then you are biased against it and have not considered it as it presents some very valid questions about the events of 9/11. There is no way a jumbo jet could have hit the Pentagon. There is no e...
