Pretty sure that you need to have a 120Hz signal for a 120Hz TV to display it beyond the native 60Hz signal... I could be wrong... I don't have a digital cable box, just analog right from the wall jack TV on my (Samsung!) LCD TV.

I was at a conference by Microsoft for institutions higher education this week. Win7 by the Holidays at the latest but they said don't be surprised if it's a lot sooner. They wouldn't give hard dates. I've been using the RC since release and I have it on several of my machines. It's fast and stable....

I'll 2nd Samsung. Have a 19 inch PC LCD and a 46 inch HD LCD TV from them and they rock.

Using a 22 inch HP w2207h now on my PC, got a good deal on 2 when Circuit City went under.

Using the public beta (7000) on my MacBook using Bootcamp (2GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM). It's so much faster than Vista, however I've had some minor problems, as is expected with Betas. Office 07 SP1 won't install and some issues getting Adobe Reader installed.

I do like the flashy loading screen.

I installed IE8 on my work machine and was not impressed, it was much much slower. Still feels like its a beta. Going to hold off for now.

Sounds right. Once you hear the Apple Startup noise, hold down the C key to boot from CD.

I actually find Vista to be a nice OS as it matures. I use Vista Business 32-bit at work on an average machine and it works great. I am still XP/2000 at home though.

I downloaded Windows 7 and burned the ISO. Now I just have to figure out which PC I want to sacrifice to install it on.
