I'm defending it because all I see are irrational claims to 'disprove' a huge body of knowledge without a firm understanding of how the science behind it works. <font face="Arial" size="3">1. why is it with every "NEW" find the theory changes?? not in large ways but the...

If by good intentions you mean legitimizing them so that they pay taxes, then yes. But seriously, from the brief article it sounds like a good thing to me.

The best thing Bush has done for me is drop capital gains tax so I don't have to pay as much for my dividends.

Cuda, you're viewpoint it woefully jaded. You'd be surprized exactly how much data has been collected. Just ask any half-decent anthropologist and he'll be able to give you a pretty good idea of what happened and why. Just read this book . It doesn't go into scientific detail (since any talk about t...

PS2 controller with a PS2->USB converter is a pretty safe bet. If you don't like the PS2 controller, Logitech makes several gamepads that a lot of people seem to like. I had a saitek p880 gamepad which I thought was rather nice, but for some strange reason the left analog stick lost its calibration ...

Icon size is 64x64, so anything larger is shrunk down. Actually any image is forced to 64x64. And it's looked down upon to have an avatar over 20k or so. 100k is the board image limit, so that's your extreme maximum. If you have trouble compressing an image, just ask one of us who have more experien...

What do you mean D3D doesn't work in D3?

If you have a 9700 you probably have more than enough power to bear the brunt of the drop in framerate from using D3D over OGL.

(That was sarcasm by the way, post your motherboard/processor as well as PSU brand and wattage, lest we not be able to help you.)

I'd put a bit more variation in the trails or whatever they are, subdue the lens flare a lot, and save it so there isn't a massive amount of jpg compression everywhere.

I like the concept though.
