If you're referring to D3 - I've done this before, to create a special homing missile that shoots a rapid laser at its target. Join a co-op game sometime. You'll immediately notice how extremely skippy the robots are. You can guess it now... the same thing would happen with \"objectified\"...

UPnP-capable NAT devices can have portmappings automatically added and removed, no username/password required. The link, as with all Blizzard files, its a downloader. Two proprietary-platform-dependant downloaders, don't forget. They are real assholes. I don't quite see the problem with simply serving it up through BitTorrent. Me, I'll be finding it somewhere else. Enjoy! Thanks. I know I'm being paranoid n...

This SBLive! here works perfectly with asfxload and without AudioHQ.

Also, if your hardware really can't do MIDI, there's always software synthesizers such as Timidity.

30 is how much you get of each countermeasure when using the weapons cheat. :)

IIRC the normal maximum is 12 for every countermeasure except the
Gunboy, of which you can carry only 4. Maybe just 9 seeker mines, dunno.

MS is always going to reign supreme as long as developers code for Windows only. Once some popular software begins being coded for Mac/PC/Linux I see Windows losing a bit of steam, especially if OEMs begin offering it as an option and it makes the PC cheaper. Yeah, but they don't code for OSX and G...

Yeah, I wonder if this might really be the end of M$'s monopoly on the desktop. People ended up taking all the crap when XP was launched, but I guess that was because they didn't see any other choice. Now, with Dell providing an alternative, and other vendors hopefully following suit, they might swi...

In Forsaken you lost your weapons even between single player missions.

It means that you'll have to fight your way to the primaries you want, which
adds to the challenge and makes the game a bit less boring.

I kinda like it.

I think Wine is also going to develop a DX10 API. Right now they have almost nothing to work with and it's still in a very early stage, but once (most of) the work has been done, and if all this DRM really causes that much overhead, Wine is probably going to run those DX10 games faster than Vista it...
