thewolfe, I would go with Ubuntu. It is pretty mainstream and should have better hardware support than others. The cd/dvd will boot up into a fully usable OS.

Weird, is that on Ubuntu or Windows? If Ubuntu, it is probably specially modified for Ubuntu. They do that with several programs to make them fit the themes better.

This version puts the close/min/max buttons on the left. Oh haha, nevermind. There is a setting in options to use system title bar and borders or to hide it. Strange chromium has that option when there are many other options that seem far more important to include. I find myself using chromium more...

It's that good? Did they finally do away with the custom borders? Chrome is the only application I have that has the close button in the top right instead of the top left and it is missing the sticky and set above icons that everything else on my system has.
