Get a zaurus It does all you want and more. Keyboard I'm not sure about. I know you can use an IR keyboard and I think I heard of an adaptor for plugging a keyboard into its sereal/docking port. It does have a little keyboard built in which I find works great. With email, you can get a wifi card and...

Geo-Mod sucks, because it's too easy for people to make a big hole in the floor and for players to get stuck in the floor (or in HighOctane's game's case, the walls and the ceiling, too). Aww, I never had that problem. Though, adding a climb key in the game would have helped a lot. You can avoid th...

Here's a suggestion, which is completely unrealistic, but fun to think about anyway: 1) Create a physics engine that uses true finite element analysis. Realistic physics... Using Suncho 's method of criticism, how would all that make the game more fun? One thing you could get with realistic physics...

Good point. To me though I enjoyed it, kind of a "King of the Hill" type level. And also, the missiles (megas and smarts) respawn in random locations so eventually you would be able to aquire it.Sirius wrote:Basically, with that one, whoever got down the bottom first would completely rule the game.

I remimber minerva. I liked it a little. My favorite levels were always the original d1 chaos levels. Levels 1 and 2 were absolutely genious! Some guy named lothar, or was it Merlin, one of those I think, would usually join and totaly own me. Something about strafing by and firing a mega up the volc...

You may notice that there are sections of the ceiling in the Hellion's room that seem to be destructible but actually aren't. Yeah, I noticed that there are three. One of them even has a mega missile behind it. I found that out by telling the guide bot to go find a powerup. The guide bot then heads...

Is this site correct?
http://www.avault.com/featured/descent3/enemy.asp?name=hellion I linked the page explaining the Hellion. I don't remimber him having any offspring, or being able to blow up any walls in the cave. Or even changing weapons depending on which one you fire at him. Was this all before the patches? Also, ...

I could never get it to work on my system with win98 (built in 2000 starting at 500 Mhz Athlon and up). I remimber I tried everything, the patch, reinstalling windows, drivers, bla bla bla. It never worked, I just had to use it as a Thrustmaster which meant no base buttons or slider. Not having thos...

Aww, no more poll. :? Thanks guys for the help. :) I rebooted the machine and and switched the switch on the back a couple of times like some of you suggested and it seems to be working right now. I went into Descent3 and set it up and started a game. At first it would randomly jerk the ship in diff...

Sidewinder 3D Pro on windows 2000?
Is it possible to get this stick working? I connect it and select the Sidewinder driver but all it does is alternate: "Connected", "Not Connected" hence it is not useable. I use it fine in linux on my machine but I want to get it working on my dads windows box so we can play D3. ...

Wow, it is wonderful to think there just might actually be a 1.5 patch. This is exciting. Maybe I will soon be able to join more maps besides Stadium and a few others. I'm running D3 on Linux and would love to test it. I can't believe I never came here before. I have been Descenting sence Descent 1 ...
