Lucas himself classified it as fantasy, and I have to agree. Dune is more my picture of science fiction, where fantastical elements are woven into a relatively believable story, and slightly more subtly than in Star Wars.

Ah, shoot. Too bad. I assume you are using a software synthesizer for creating the MP3s. I don't think that these files sound as good as those MP3s which were created with the hardware synthesizer of the sound card. The above MP3s were produced by using my soundfont and the synthesizer of my Creativ...

That's assuming that you want the fog to work like real-life and obscure vision through the fog increasingly as the amount of fog increases, revealing more as you get further through the fog. If you don't want that, though, then you could apply fog on a per-pixel basis as part of the render pipeline...
