wow! How long did that take to render? with what software?

Well I had to get the file below BB limits but render didn't take long i turn a lot render options off. Will try turning them back on.when I start a final render. Planet texture was made in Photoshop. The rest was done in Vue. render file to follow

Beautiful. My laptop would crash before I had half that many faces.

I love how it's not all realism going on here. There's an obvious obscurity. It's somewhere between a landscape and expressionism. Was this a result of the rendering options being off, or was it intentional?

Mostly intentional but some of it was the options turned off. I turn off blurred reflections and transparency also trace reflections and transparency along with depth of field.

Hoping it will render out with all that turned on.
