It comes off that way, but I think his point is, we shouldn't immortalize him for no apparent reason. And that being random just to be random isn't funny. I get his perspective, but I like randomness.

Back on topic, Dwarf Fotress is an awesome game. It's also made me realize, dwarves are bad ass. Then it made me wonder how strong a dwarf could be. I mean, if one were just as strong as a Mike Tyson the dwarf would benefit by having a lower center of gravity, meaning more stability. And in a real fight the dwarf could win.

No no it was comical because with your wording you missed the point by like a hair -- if you worded it any other way I might have even agreed. Like when you shoot your MD at that phoenix but your ping is just high enough that hitting the ship doesn't actually hit it. That close a miss.

Isn't the point of those jokes how absurdely highly overrated their subject is?

Everyone with custom titles, like "DBB Artist", has no reason to care about post counts. Custom titles are fixed. They don't "improve" with more posts. Ours could be stuck at 0 posts and we wouldn't care, as long as user rights were the same, because our titles are already cool.

Now, a netted value of Likes vs Dislikes would be a good number.

Issac, being a dwarf means you suffer from a crippling condition that is typically degenerative. Most have joint issues that make "strong" a relative term. For some, it's measured by how long they can stand without the use of their crutches/braces. You might find some younger "short people" that can lift a considerable amount, but remember that you are talking about a group of people that are known from being tossed ... not tossing.

Yeah.. i know there is a distinction between "dwarf" and "midget" but it's moot.

Now... if you're talking about a dwarf Star ... that's a different matter all together! :mrgreen:
