It probably has limits and is probably designed to curve any extreme sharp movements you give it.

It said it moved fast enough to simulate 1.5 g's of force, so that would be its limit.

Now, if they take this and use it only to simulate spatial position, they could then mount the chair and interface on some kind of gyroscopic device to simulate spatial orientation for a full 6-DOF with proper gravity simulation. That would be GREAT for pilot training.

But this would probably simulate a pyro pretty well. Considering pyros ignore gravity, you wouldn't need to simulate being fully upside down, just the sensation of tilting in the proper direction you're turning as inertial dampeners obviously have a lag time. If it's a perfect inertial dampener, well then sitting in your chair is already a perfect pyro simulation.
