Screenshot scaling

Post by LEON »

Hey

I try to scale some screenshots so they fit into the level briefing.

But when i scale down the TGA file, imagetool or ogftool refuse to read it. And then I can't convert it to a ogf file.

If I convert the tga file to ogf before scaling, Im not able to open it in any programs in order to scale it. I tried gimp, but it refuse to read ogf's. Yes I have a ogf plugin for gimp.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Leon

There's a particular colour depth and probably format option you need for the TGAs to work, I think. Not sure off-hand what it was any more.

TGA's must be uncompressed 32-bit format. Anything else will not be read in properly. At least that is for d3 image tool.

Problem solved.

Thanks guys. I had Checkor to help me as well. Told me to save it as 24 bit uncompress.
