I'm at around 800 segments and my map doesn't even feel that big...will there be issues with the game? or is there anything else I should watch out for?

If it's going to be converted to D2 you can go up to 900... otherwise yes, I believe vanilla Descent won't run it.

Really? I was unaware of this ceiling x.x my map doesn't even feel that big x.x

For D 1.5, will we be using D2 or Vertigo? and if it's Vertigo, is there an increased limit there too?

It will be using Vertigo but there's no limit increase there.

Your ready level still has exactly 39 segments that need to go :D I'll see if I can do something about it myself.

Oh! well I can look into it myself right now. It shouldn't be too hard to do though. I thought that since it ran in-game and everything, that it was ok.

Rebirth and XL don't really care if it has more than the officially prescribed number of segments - they'll load it anyway.

If someone wants to play it in the DOSBox version that you used to get off Steam, though... then there will be problems.

And I agree, 900 segments never feels that large. At least for levels you built yourself. :)

The level is very large, probably larger than anything in First Strike. Maybe only levels like 7 matched it in terms of being sprawling haha
