FS: Compaq Presario 2100 Notebook

Post by Pun »

Bought new in August. Used 4 times.

15.1"tft
Athlon XP2800+ Mobile.
256 MB RAM
30 Gig HD
DVD Rom CDRW Combo Drive
comes with XP Home

hmm, looks like it's got built in wi fi as well. There's a little button on the front with a wifi logo on it. Can someone confirm?

It's like new, still has all the stickers on it and everything. I dont think it's ever even been typed on. It was used for powerpoint presentations for one month. Since then, it's been sitting in the box it was shipped in. Not a scratch on it. Mint.

$800 + shipping.

Please PM me here on the forums with any questions. I dont check my email regularly.

I'm gonna leave it here for a couple days. If nobody wants it, I'll off it on Ebay. Thanks!

dont email me @ pun_at_metallisoft_dot_com. Dont email me period. I dont check my emails.

I can vouch for these being pretty decent little laptops. Had a 2145US that I used for a while. Not a bad little "budget"-type machine. :) (I "sold" mine to my sister-in-law as a school computer when I was looking at upgrading to a more heavy-duty notebook.)

Good luck on selling it, that sounds like a pretty good price. 8)

her current one:

Intel Celeron 500 MHz
64MB RAM
Win2k
18GB Toshiba IDE
half working PSU with a half broken AC/DC plug port
large crack in screen where a thumbtack apparently got stuck into it from laying on keyboard....

its a peice of uber poo....but she refuses to buy a new one, or even get this one upgraded

Whats the display resolution?
What kind of RAM is in it?
Whats the graphics chip?
Does the graphics chip have its own dedicated (Not shared with system) memory?

1024 x 768

Dont know.

It's a 64MB ATI

Dont know. How can I find out?

It's not an uber gaming laptop, if that's what you're looking for. What it IS, is a virtually brand new, hardly used, nice looking laptop. Model No. is CPQ/2104US
