New D2X-XL developer!

Post by Diedel »

D2X-XL has a new developer who has experience in the realms of OpenGL and is eager to help improving D2X-XL! I have asked him to introduce himself and hope he will do so shortly. :)

Great, that should help a lot, especially since there are many people who have been begging for shaders. Hopefully either simx can port this or this new guy can code for Mac or in a platform-independant format as well.

Shaders are written in HLSL, so are fully portable.

Isn't HLSL the Direct3D shader language? In that case it's entirely non-portable.

Unless you mean GLSL, which is plaform-independant.
