A thank you goes out to the development crew. Man I never saw D2 look so good. Now if only I can find the game servers.

WarDog,

there are no dedicated multiplayer servers for D2(X(-XL)). See http://www.descent2.de/d2x-multiplayer.html.

Well truth be told I researched all of this before the Descent 2 package arrived.

Then you should know how to find a D2 game, don't you? ;) If you cannot find one via the tracker(s), nobody is hosting a game via tracker. You can try the online gaming KALI, if it's still available: Traditionally, D2 players meet there.

Yeah if noone is hosting, then the next best thing is Kali.
About 8pm or later (US CST). There is a game or 2 everyday with 4 to 6 ppl playing. Sofar this has been going on for 3 weeks now.
