I turned them off because I frickin hate polls. :(

I <3 me!!!!1 VOTE NOW PLZ KTHX!!
1. I'm t3h best!
2. I lurb you too!!!
3. Drop dem pants now!

I'll leave it up to Xciter; if he wants them we can turn them back on. The DBB never had polls before so I didn't see why we needed them now.

They do have their uses guys. I say leave them on unless they're abused.

Is it possible to turn them on by forum?

I get alot of, "Which date works best for this lan", "which location works best", "who would show?" etc. polls in multiplayer. They would really be nice.

There's no way to really turn them on or off, more like comment out the code that lets you post them. :)

They're on now...

(edited messages should be off now too)

The edit stuff only shows up if you edit a post after a response was made. Though I recall you guys had it turned off completely on the UBB (which by default shows the message always).

I like phpBB's increased control over polls. UBB6 doesn't have nearly enough options (can't edit the poll once it's posted, can't close it without closing the topic, or by setting a time limit, which has to be set when the poll is created).

(EDIT)And I'll add that I'm thankful that the No Flood Control on Edit hack is installed (or whatever you guys did), as people would probably bash the flood control quite often when trying to edit posts otherwise :).
