Steam Early Access is live (and all KS backers can play too)

If you have any game package of any sort -- kickstarter, steam, or from the DS website -- you can start playing. Be aware that it is early alpha. There are only 2 primary weapons in the game, only 3 levels, stuff like that. It's incomplete. But it's interesting.

And again, I'd like to see records of the game, not from the developers, and from gamers.

Ug, I tried playing, but the menu didn't even render correctly. I know I don't come close to the minimum requirements, but I was at least hoping for a slide show. :|

Could it be a driver issue? What are your specs?
My rig is not exactly high end (Core i3 3.3ghz, GeForce GTX 650), but I was able to play it (albeit at low detail and resolution).

You're right. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04, but I updated my kernel and graphics stack to the one in Ubuntu 15.04 using the LTS backports, and now it seems to be working. This laptop has an Intel Core i5-4300U (2.9GHz) with Intel HD Graphics 4400 graphics, so I wasn't expecting much, but when I bring the screen resolution down to 800x600, it's fast enough for me to at least be able to fly around a bit and get a feel for what the game looks like, although I think that any kind of competitive play would be difficult.
