Indoor Security cams

Post by CDN_Merlin »

Hi,

So someone has stolen my compost bin twice in a month. I think it's the compost truck but no proof as my current "still picture" cam only activate with cars and not people.

So what do you use to capture video 24/7 to local SD card or attached network storage with 1080P res that is not a second mortgage?

I think there is some software out there that can turn an old android phone into a network security camera for cheap, just get a SD card that is designed for camera feeds or it will burn out the average card in a couple months. Don't use the phones built in memory or it will eventually brick the phone.

What kind of budget are you wanting to work with here?

I've looked at a bunch and sadly more than I want to pay.
