Minimum System Requirements

Post by Unix »

Here are the minimum system requirements at this time for Core Decision.

*However they are subject to change*

Minimum game requirements:

CPU: 2ghz + Intel compatible
System Memory: 512MB+
AGP Graphics card: Radeon 9700, 9800, or equivalent

This does not mean however, that a system below this spec wouldn't work. I just means that it is not recommended.

This comes straight from the man himself :)

Poor KoolBear.

1ghz
1gig ram
voodoo 5500 :P

Poor is right you say! I know but I never needed anything better it ran all versions of Descent just fine. I heard once somewhere on the internet that there were other games and other tyes, but once the 360 degree bug bit I was done searching.

I guess that's why I embrace a new 360 Genre game!

Anyone care to donate an old 2ghz system to a good 360 degree cause ;)

At least this way I can set a goal for myself hey the kids have had thier chritmas, now it's time for ,e to think about an upgrade :D

Not sure why it would be, we have nothing to do with the Doom 3 engine.

Perhaps you should read this.

Presently it supports,
Win9x
Win2k
WinXP
Longhorn
Mac OSX
Linux (RedHat Tested)
Unix (FreeBSD Tested)
XBOX 360

Please keep in mind that these may change as development continues.

Presumably, Mac users will do fine with G4 1.25GHz (maybe G4 1.42GHz, either way, I'm fine).

Nope. We aren't probably going to use a recommended spec.

Your stuff should either work or it doesn't.

Basically the lower your specifications are, the more you'll have to tweak it in order to run it.

WOOT!
My new machine will run it nicely. :)

Gonna have to build a new machine for the fiance. Don't think the old 800 machine is gonna be up for that.

Well I'm running a AMD 3800+ now. So I think my computer is strong enough to handle the game.

It will depend more on your video card then CPU.

Not that having a 3800+ won't help of course...
