Yay, but so far it looks just like SC with better graphics. We'll wait and see how it turns out in the future but I don't have many worries, Blizzard has been the best game company IMHO.

The cut scenes are one of the things I enjoy about the game. The attention to details like how the marines toe's flexed as he stood on the platform. Can't wait for this to come out.
And x2 to what the marine said.

The soundtrack for the trailers sound neat, I wonder if its representative of whats in the game. It kinda sounds Danny Elfman-ish.

I highly doubt Blizzard would buy someone elses engine when it's been in production since 2003.

The full demo is up in 1280x720 goodness

It's 448 megs and well worth it. The link, as with all Blizzard files, its a downloader.

Enjoy!

Personally I don't WANT them to change it that much. Add some new units/features/races even...but don't go the Warcraft route and add \"heroes\" to level up and all that ★■◆●. I want it to remain true to its roots.

Two proprietary-platform-dependant downloaders, don't forget. They are
real assholes. I don't quite see the problem with simply serving it up through
BitTorrent.

Me, I'll be finding it somewhere else.

Thanks. I know I'm being paranoid now, but that must be what bliz thought
when they put up that page... ahh, nothing quite like sarcasm.

Be sure to have a good outbound firewall set up before running such
"downloaders"...
