Hey, after replacing my new PC's hard drive (very succesfully). I bought my macbook, which came with a paultry 80GB hard drive in august 2007, and i'me looking for a replacement hard drive
if found this one so far

Ideally i would like at least 250GB and 7200rpm speed, as i hear they provide an impressive speed differece from the stock fujitsu 5400rpm drives...
My only worry is that there are compatability issues with some drives. anything i should watch out for?
THanks again guys.
Hard drive for Macbook now
Re:
Yeah I ahve heard that a 7200rpm drive decreases battery life by about 30mins, is this true? it doesnt bother me that much anyway.... i carry the power lead everywhere.fliptw wrote:if its sata and the same size you'll have no issues.
Note that faster spinning hard drives also draw more power.
Cool, looks like i'll get that one!

SATA up to 500GB 5400 or 7200 2.5in x 9.5mm
Now the installation is going to be the fun part....I hope you are ready for a long journey... and you better have a spludger handy

I seem to have a better workout dodging your stupidity than attempting to grasp the weight of your intelligence.
