Cross-hair becomes white block in Descent 3 Multiplayer

Post by Neptin »

This has happened on numerous machines I have played D3 1.4 on. Does the 1.5 patch fix this? And do I need the CD to run the 1.5 patch? I can't seem to find info on that. I broke Disc 1 long ago :/

It's a known OpenGL bug. You can switch to DirectX (which might slow the performance), or just deal with it by switching momentarily to the AutoMap (or any screen with a different resolution).

I think the v1.5 patch can be found at PlanetDescent, but if you're playing online, note that the multiplayer servers nearly always run v1.4.
