The sun burns at a temp of approximately 9940.73 degrees Fahrenheit. Far from the several million degrees the earths interior.Al Gore wrote:People think about geothermal energy — when they think about it at all — in terms of the hot water bubbling up in some places, but two kilometers or so down in most places 'cause the interior of the earth is extremely hot, several million degrees there are these incredibly hot rocks, and the crust of the earth is hot
Funny thing is the earth core temp is approximately 5432 to 9032 degrees Fahrenheit.
IF you do the math. Where the temp raises 1 degree Fahrenheit for every 60 feet the temp will be around 180,032 degrees Fahrenheit so indeed the earth core maybe hotter than the sun.
Like most science the is no actual way to measure the temp of the earth core's. His statements of late has really been way out there.
