joystick similar to sidewinder 3d pro plus

Post by deepthought »

where can i find a cheap joystick to the Microsoft sidewinder 3d pro plus? i found a 3d pro plus at goodwill, but something funky is happening with the electronics. so, i want to find a joystick with similiar potentiometers and put it's circuit board inside the sidewinder. any help?

Thanks!

The 3D Pro, Plus, Precision Pro, and FF Pro don't have pots. They use a MS proprietary optical sensor system. What you think of won't work.

Click. Easier to just buy another SideWinder stick on ebay or your local thrift store.
