Anyone play Jedi Academy?

I got my copy a few months ago and my disc got butchered. I need a no-cd patch that doesn't cause huge bugs in multiplayer. Anyone know where I can find what I need?

Thanks

if you run jamp from C:\\Program Files\\LucasArts\\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\\GameData it is just like a no-cd crack with no issues at all.

Eh, I don't know whether it would normally... but then, I may not have tested it.

Not sure whether this topic is against board policy, but yeah, GCW is usually the best bet as they aren't so likely to be loaded with viruses.

Well its a known issue with Jedi Academy, and thats been the recommended fix for the game, and most of the no-cd cracks out there don't fix the issue.

Isn't this against DBB policy to be discussing warez?

MD should know better.

A no cd patch for someone that owns the game isn't warez. Do try and keep up.

Do you have proof he owns it? What if I said I needed a NOCD for a game and you didn't know me personally. Would you trust me?

I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just mentioning this isn't something that should be discussed in main.

I bought my game from ebay. Original disks. It's mine fair and square, provided the guy I bought it from didn't copy it first.

The problem I have is a message I get that disconnects me from multiplayer games at random times.

\"Error

CL_ParsePacketEntities

End Of Message\"

That happens about every 5 minutes.

Taken from another site after searching for his error message.
Why am I getting a cl_parsepacketentities error when I try to play JK:JA?!

This error is given when you are using a pirated version of Jedi Academy or a NO-CD crack. Either buy the full version of the game or remove your NO-CD crack and you will be fine.

NOTE: Discussing, requesting, or offering warez (including pirated software and hacks/cracks) is not permitted on GamingForums. Keep this in mind when you are posting here!

Also please note, that as this is a copy protection issue, any methods of bypassing this error will be considered warez

indeed.

nocd patches are warez: they are nothing but illegally modified code that is distributed on the webs.
