Had to share this one with you guys. A drunken yobbo was full as a boot and feeling suicidal so he climbed onto a bridge with the aim of jumping. The police manage to talk him into coming down, but he slips and falls in the process.

As luck would have it, the ladder-wielding firetruck that was driving in to collect him off the bridge happened to run into him... AS HE WAS FALLING! He bounced off the windshield and fell to the ground.

They took him to hospital but he had barely a scratch - the windshield broke his fall. One split second later and he would have ended up under the truck.

he would have broken an ankle at the worst. A second sooner and he would have been run over.

Neither, really. The outcome at the end is pretty much the same as the outcome of what would happen if he didn't slip at all.
