What to do with the ol' Mountain Bike?

Post by Red_5 »

Just got me a new bike... I upgraded from a 24\" Vertical AM2 to a 26\" Motive CC something or other. I really don't want to sell my old bike... what should I do with it? It's a good bike!

Save it for the missus/offspring? Otherwise, you did upgrade...sell it.

that raises the question: why a new bike if the old one was too good to sell? then it must be also too good not to use. sorry, you wasted money on your new bike. sell the new bike, keep the old one.
did i get that right, you don't even know what kind of new bike you have?

I got it for free from my friend. It's a nice bike. The other one was just slightly to small and uncomfortable, but I've grown attached to it, if you know what I mean?

Keep it for TACO occasions, I used to keep 4 bikes active and ready to go

TACO = when after you hit something or someone, your bike or bike parts resemble the shape of a TACO

I seem to have a better workout dodging your stupidity than attempting to grasp the weight of your intelligence.

Store it somewhere, you'll never know when you need an extra bike.

Use the good bike for the trips that take advantage of its superiority, and keep the \"beater\" for commuting or anything else for which you don't so much mind it getting rained on or stolen.

heh heh I'm so OCD, I hate it when my stuff gets rained on, damaged, stolen, etc. Maybe I'll learn BMX or something with it!
