Descent for iPhone...?

I came across some things that mention that the iPhone/iTouch came with an OpenGl renderer thingy inside and I thought \"Oooh! Descent!\" However I fail to remember where I saw these mentions.
Depending on the capabilities of the accelerometer, this could be really cool! I know these devices already have the capabilities of doing more than Descent...!
Anyone here develop for iPhone/iTouch?

Closed systems rarely make for good 3rd party development. I wouldn't program for an Apple product. How about Descent on Android?

You can't develop for the iPhone unless you pay a hundred bucks and sign an NDA. Also, getting access to the iPhone App Store is a pain as well.
