My New System...

Post by Canuck »

Finally arrived today, triple boot XP Pro 32, Vista 32, Vista 64. Time tests in D3 puts me in the 1000+ fps club :)

D2X Rebirth is fantastic I had to pull myself away from \"testing\" as time was passing too quickly, great job guys!

Still setting up the system and transferring data but I cant wait to get online and back into the mines.

Antec Sonata Plus 550
ASUS P5Q3-DELUXE/WIFI
Q9550 - 2.83GHz Quad Core CPU
2x Kingston 2GB PC3-10600 1333MHz DDR3
eVGA GeForce 9600GT 512MB DDR3 (I was on a budget)
2x 500GB SATA 3GBs Raid 0
The regular gamut of peripherals

Nuck Out.

Whoops my pc's butt. Have fun with it, and D1x and D2x Rebirth are indeed awesome.

Nuck you are officially BANNED from all online play on grounds of being \"Over Geared\"!

No Game for You!

;)

Nice box. Post some benchmark stuff when you have the time.

Hehe I got banned at 60HZ locked frames. I dialed down the FPS to 300 and will hopefully get on tonight. Hardware definitely makes a difference.

Still adding drives and restoring data. Builder kept all the extra cabling and special screws so I'm frankensteining in the extra hardware. Need some fancy 90 degree cables and power cables to add the last drive though. Had to add two front HD fans as the SATA drives double as space heaters.

Also playing the driver game in Vista and turning off all the crap... grrr.

One of my suppliers, comes with a three year parts and labor warranty. Usually I build myself but I had to work.
