This is so cool and absolutely mind boggling! If you have Quicktime on your computer, watch the animation by clicking on the 'watch animation' link under the top first picture. I like the daily east to west progression.

Just thinking of all that energy in our planes, flying. All that power in the air. The tons of metal in the air at all times, that gets heavier as demand rises. It's a floating world, we made that never stops.
