We need to set up 3 or 4 simple pages and a couple of forms for the ChicagoLAN website. Any of you web savvy dudes that are coming to the LAN willing to help?

Well, My artistic skillz suck, but I can put one up that will get the job done.

We could still use some help if anyone would be kind enough to offer.

Thanks!

i can easily make you a some forms.. or pages.. i designed the whole califest.org website.. it's pretty simple acutally.

first thing you'll need to do is make sure you have FormMail.pl in your cgi-bin directory. After that you have to chmod that, which is a unix command to give it the write permissions. Most hosting companies, say chmod 777 on the server. After that is done, and the FormMail.pl has been configured you can then set up simple forms, and set them up on the site so people can register.

???

I based mine off of yours based on the fact you have more experience on what data we need to collect.

If it bugs you I can change it. I wasn't trying to pass it off as my original idea or anything. I'm not the most creative person in the world, so I have to go to the experts to get my Sh1t together.

Sorry dude

Or are you talking about the $1500.00 at the door fee? Image If so, I just threw a number there to have fun. It wasn't directed at Califest!

When you work that hard on something, it's really easy to read a little deeper than you normally do into stuff. I get that way about my HAL LAN.

Keep up the good work dude, and thanks for the inspiration!
