How come a former president's wife can run for president but a former president can't run for vice president?

Ah, not so. If a president served only one term, like Trump, then he or she is eligible to run as someone's VP. If a president served 2 terms, then he or she is NOT eligable to run as someone's VP because if that president died in office, the VP becomes president and that violates the 2 term rule.

You forget woody. Trump would never run for VP. His ego is so YUGE that running for second best would be an insult to his ego and manhood. Only top dictator with absolute power will do.
