Ok, I'm posting from the parking lot of a Kmart in Milwaukee...

We arrived in town last night just in time to complete registration and talk to a few people in the lot.

One of those people turned out to be the owner of a performance exhaust company.. I'll name later when I can... He wants to use my ride as a prototype for a new header/exhaust system! I'm going to finalize the details later today. (pays to be nice to people sometimes doesn't it!)

Anyways, I'll be posting links to slideshows over the course of the week... here is the first one (content is lacking since Friday was a dead day!)

http://www.yeticans.com/pt_friday/

I'll post some more later from the show!

C!

Thanks guys! More pics later tonight...

Details on the Exhaust... Bassani exhaust is prototyping a header system for my car... I get to keep a system after I do some fit testing for them! So far it looks like the headers and an Xpipe +special no retorque header gaskets. :) Suppliers Rock! :)

I just came back from a local Ferrari show here in town. They also had Gilles Villeneuve 1980 F1 Ferrari. Also, they had my dream car, a Porsche Carrera GT. :P

I got pics of all of them. Need to convert to smaller file size and then find somewhere to put them.

BTW, my arms, head and back of neck are beet red. :P

Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun :D
I read about that GT500 getting in an accident on the Hot Rod Power Tour Forum, what a shame. I'm afraid if that was my car I would of been in jail for assault.
So you guys are in Indy today, they going to let you get that Mustang out on that big 2-1/2 mile track? Indy is a little overwhelming that first time you see it, it's friggin huge!
I looked at the schedule and your going to be busy try to get some sleep when you can, have a safe trip and post some more pics

Sorry guys... we had a little trouble with the old Holley 4160. As a result, my picture taking time took a giant hit.

The Holley started fouling out the plugs when we were in city traffic (lots of that when you have 3,000 hot rods trying to get into the same parking lot) We were limping by for the last couple of days, and I was all ready to go out and buy an Edlebrock, when we got some unexpected help from the venders. Bassini hooked us up with the use of a full toolkit (I wish I had one like that!) and Comp Cams came over and troubleshot the carb (turned out to be a stuck float valve) Comp cams then pulled some valves from their demo models and installed, adjusted, and tuned the entire carb up for me! :)

The car runs better than ever, and I hope to be able to run tomorrow in Birmingham (1/4 mile). The little puppy runs so good now that I unknowingly tore up a 96 Cobra! I love the pull of the launch!

So anyways, here are some more pics (some will work tomorrow when the pictures are done processing...)

Well TopGun, my wife really liked the paint!

How bout some more from the road...

http://www.yeticans.com/pt_wednesday/

It took us 6 hours to make the 190 mile run yesterday. We were delayed because we helped a guy install a waterpump on his 1968 Cougar, which resulted in us following a house up and down a mountain road, some horrible traffic, and one of the worst rain storms I have ever driven in.

We pulled into the venu about the time they were closing it down!

C!

There is a "Next Page" link on the top left of the page. Kind of small and hard to spot.

:) :) :)

Guess who's car made it to the Hot Rod site...

http://www.hotrod.com/powertour/113_hrp ... ndex3.html

I was trying to park in front of Bassini Exhaust, and the coordinators kept moving me... American Racing Equipment spotted the car (with their Torq rims) and pulled us into their display!

Let me tell you guys, this tour is INCREDIBLE! I've never seen so many genuinley NICE people! In fact we only ran into a few people that were kind of jerky (all of them worked for Mothers, which further cements my loyalty to Meguires)

We are doing this in '06!

:)

Man, once I find a decently drivable '70 Cuda, I'm all over it with you. Sorry, I'm pretty much a Mopar guy, but the only kind of Mustang I like is a '69-71 fastback... So that's cool!

Maybe someday we'll get to square off in the 1320 too. *Sigh* I'm just dreaming now.
