We're with http://www.your-site.com/ and they've been real good for us. (Make sure if you sign up that you point to tomandcatherine.com as referring you -- I think we get a free month for it.)

5 bucks a month for small websites.

I got my grandpa hosted with 1PlanHost when I designed a site for him. That's $8.25/mo (with a 1yr package), 1000GB storage, 50GB/mo traffic limit. A MySQL or MSSQL database is extra.

They're pretty fast. I uploaded a large file to my grandpa's site a little while ago to test it. It didn't quite max out my 3.0Mbps download, but it came pretty close (over 200KBps, I believe).

I don't know if it's along the lines of what you're looking for or not, but feel free to ask any questions; I still have complete access to it. If you are interested, give me a heads-up; they might have some kind of referral deal I can get my grandpa in on. ;)

I dont have reccomendations but a warning. Avoid Netfirms. They may be cheap and offer everything but they are just cheap. SQL server is unreliable, random problems where you have to e-mail a minimum 2 times to tech support to get them to know that their FAQ was read and did not help.
