I have a PC with this FX5600-VTDR128 card. I want to set up a quasi-web camera by using an old Sony Handycam 8mm Camcorder by connecting the video out from the camera into the Video In on this card.

I was hoping that the workgroup was not global. Perhaps I can rename the workgroup on my home network to match the server. This will not keep them totally separate as planned.

Hmmm.... seems you would need to stay with DCHP for the general public (customers) to easily access your connection.

I think the best thing to do is have a user name / password system. This way your customers do not have to reconfigure their network settings.
